This Focus 50 low-cost index fund, with an ongoing charge of 0.13%, offers investors a simple way to gain exposure to international equities in a single fund. The portfolio represents approximately 90%-95% of the global equity market, excluding the UK. It tracks the FTSE World ex-UK, combining exposure to developed and emerging markets. There is a slight overweight to mid-caps at the expense of large caps and mega caps and the fund has tracked the benchmark tightly. This can be attributed to the quality of portfolio optimisation by L&G which has established itself as a leading provider of passives.
