What are Funds?
A Fund is a pool of money from many contributors, investing in a diversified portfolio. If you invest in a Fund, you’ll benefit from a professional Fund Manager who’ll determine the investment process, work towards a specific objective and handle the day-to-day fund management.
By combining everyone’s contributions, the Fund invests in selected asset classes, such as equities, bonds and property. This means you’ll spread the risk out, even if you’re only investing small amounts.
The most common Fund structures you will find are Open Ended Investment Companies (OEICs) and Unit Trusts.
