Neil Woodford Fund Manager Update

Posted by Jason Chapman in Fund and industry updates category on 16 Apr 14

After more than 25 years, star fund manager Neil Woodford will be leaving Invesco Perpetual on 30 April 2014 and has already handed over the managing of his funds to Mark Barnett. Neil was the manager of, amongst others, Invesco Perpetual’s Income and High Income funds, has decided to set up a new fund management business.

As these Invesco funds have been perennial favourites for some of our customers, it is no surprise that we have received a number of enquiries regarding Neil’s next venture.

Whilst details of the new venture are presently sketchy, a fund launch is expected in the near future. You can register for updates and an application pack below.

As for Neil’s replacement at Invesco, Mark Barnett worked with Neil Woodford for 17 years, and has built a good track record in his own right. He presently receives an FE Alpha Manager rating from Financial Express.
