M&G Fund Name Change

Posted by Jason Chapman in Fund and industry updates category on 23 Jul 14

As of 8 August 2014 the M&G High Yield Corporate Bond Fund will be changing its name to the 'M&G Global High Yield Bond Fund'.

Why are they changing the name?

M&G have included the term 'Global', because they believe that this more clearly describes the fact that the Fund can, and always has been able to invest in markets and major currencies worldwide. They have also removed the word 'Corporate' as they believe 'High Yield' more clearly describes the fact that, while the Fund invests predominantly in high yield corporate debt, it may also invest in high yield government debt.

There is no change to the way the Fund is run, to its fees or charges or to the timing and frequency of income distribution payments. All costs associated with changing the name will be borne by M&G Securities and will not be charged to the fund.
