This low-cost index fund offers investors a simple way to gain exposure to international equities in a single fund. The portfolio represents approximately 90%-95% of the global equity market, excluding the UK. It tracks the FTSE World ex-UK, combining exposure to developed and emerging markets. There is an overweighting to large-caps at the expense of giant-caps, mid-caps, and small-caps and the fund has tracked the benchmark tightly. The fund uses portfolio optimisation and holds a basket of securities that reflects the risk and return characteristics of the index instead of holding all the index's constituents.
