Willis Owen hires Head of Digital to enhance customer experience

Willis Owen, the leading online investment provider, has today announced the appointment of a new Head of Digital to spearhead its work on enhancing the digital experience for its customers.
Alex Rees joins Willis Owen from BNP Paribas, where he was Online Marketing Manager responsible for growing a core insurance brand and generating digital customer acquisitions.
Rees, who has ten years of digital and marketing experience across B2B and B2C companies from a variety of big brands - including online goods delivery giant Ocado - will be responsible for building out Willis Owen’s digital proposition as part of the company’s wider development.
In what is a newly created role for Willis Owen, Rees will report into Jason Chapman, Managing Director.
The hire follows the promotion of a number of staff to the board last year, with Adrian Lowcock, head of personal investing, and Ian Taunt, head of product and compliance, both joining the executive committee.
