I secured a job within Barclays Bank some 39 years ago before I left school at 16 much to my parents delight and it wasn’t until January this year, when I was offered redundancy, that I finally decided to leave and try something different. Sounds like I had a boring life but believe me I haven't.

Whilst working within Barclays Retail Banking there were many avenues to take but I found the one that suited me best was working within a sales team promoting new products & working within the Premier division where I looked after a portfolio of High Net Worth Clients dealing with their everyday needs .

My plan when I left Barclays was to take some time out and enjoy myself but after a couple of weeks at home I started to panic and worried that I might not find another job.

I was approached about working for Willis Owen and before I knew it I was back working within a lively friendly enthusiastic team and the one thing I was impressed with was the company's take on Customer Service which I feel is second to none.

I would like to say in my spare time I enjoy wind surfing , cooking, running marathons etc. but in honesty I like nothing better than meeting up with my friends , helping my partner organise social events at my local Cricket club and just relaxing listening to my music which apparently is an acquired taste.
