Bill McQuaker is head of the Henderson Global Investors multi-manager team and is lead manager on this fund. Following Henderson’s acquisition of New Star in 2009, the existing multi-manager team benefited greatly, as the key members of New Star’s multi-manager team chose to stay with the new company, creating one of the largest and most experienced teams in the retail sector.
This fund aims to be a core holding for the more cautious investor but will actively change the allocation between the core assets of equities and fixed interest, aiming to outperform in most market conditions, which has been achieved under McQuaker’s management.
